Our Story
After decades of abandonment, the ruins of this small village, nestled in the mountains of Campos do Jordão, were rediscovered by the family that embraced them and and brought back to life a dream first envisioned decades earlier by an Italian passionate about Tuscany.
Today, Vecchia Toscana is a restaurant and events venue dedicated to creating intimate experiences inspired by Italy. Through its architecture, cuisine, carefully curated wine selection and welcoming hospitality, every visit is designed to transport guests to the heart of Tuscany.

Wine in Tuscany
Few wine regions in the world have a history as rich as Tuscany’s. Viticulture here dates back to the Etruscans, flourished under the Roman Empire, and was later preserved and refined by monasteries before inspiring the great Renaissance families. Today, Tuscany is home to some of Italy’s most celebrated appellations, including Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico and the iconic Super Tuscans—wines that continue to shape the world’s finest wine culture.
